Los Cabos Humane Society
When you are in Cabo San Lucas the next time, you might want to visit the Los Cabos Humane Society. The Humane Society maintains a shelter and office hours a short distance from the center of town.
The Los Cabos Humane Society serves Cabo San Lucas and San Jose to rescue homeless animals off of the streets of Los Cabos, Baja Sur, Mexico and to provide free spay neuter clinics and low-cost veterinary care to low income families. Los Cabos Humane Society also provides adoption services throughout the Los Cabos area and to the U.S. and Canada. Rescue, Spay Neuter, adoption of Dogs and Cats in Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, Mexico is what the Humane Society does today.
The Los Cabos Humane Society was founded when a group of dedicated men and women (mostly women) observed the overpopulation of cats and dogs abandoned on the streets of Cabo San Lucas. Many years of hard work has brought the Los Cabos Humane Society to where it is today. And the work continues to the benefit of all who live in the Los Cabos area.
