Best Buy Comes to Mexico
With the declining global economy there are still some US based companies expanding. Best Buy has gone into the Mexican Market by planning their first store in Mexico City. The project will cost $45 Million USD and create 450 jobs. Mexico's middle class is growing more and more each year which is the major attraction to big companies like Walmart, Costco, Home Depot, Office Depot, etc to come to Mexico. In recent years the average per capita rose from a meager 4,000 per annum to over 9,000 per annum.
Best Buy plans to open more stores and my guess is that we can expect to see one here in Cabo soon, afterall, we have Starbuck's now.
